Admission Eligibility at NIOS.ae
- Individuals must be at least 14 years old at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit.
- You need to have a certificate of leaving your school or an age proof document, as it is required for the application.
- We are open to Indian expatriates and other international learners in the UAE.
Available Subjects for NIOS 10th
Students must choose at least five subjects (including at least one language). NIOS encourages mixing core academics with skill-focused options so that students get a complete learning experience. Here are the subjects:

Examination Structure and Pattern

Biannual Exams
Exams are held twice a year in April and October. Also, there is an option for on-demand examinations.

Assessment Types
Written exams are of 100 marks for most subjects, like science and mathematics. Home Science includes practical exams, with 85 marks for theory and 15 for practicals.

Flexible Attempts
Students can take up to 9 exam attempts. These attempts can be made within 5 years only. As students have more time, they don’t feel any pressure.
